In 2003, the Peninsula Community Foundation was established by a group of community and business leaders with a $1,000 donation. Today, the foundation has grown to 163 funds with $15 million in assets.
These assets include Scholarship Funds, Nonprofit Endowments, Corporate Employee Hardship Funds, Donor Advised Funds and so much more. The Foundation, along with our partners, reinvest an average of $2 million dollars every year into the local community.
Give Local 757!(TM) the annual 24-hour day of giving hosted on the second Tuesday in May by the Peninsula Community Foundation raised a record $1,712,358 in 2021.
